ChingMing Festival.

ChingMing Day this year is on the 5th April. On this day chinese families will head for the cemetries of their ancestors before dawn. they will clean up the surrounding of the graveyards, light a candle, offer foods for the departed and/or say a prayer and/or ask for a favourite number to buy at the betting counters! These all shpuld be done before the sun rises. or ill fortunes will befall the family. In the next few years your decendants may be doing the same things for you!! Every year at this time this is a massive displacement of people, creating gridlocks, chaos, confusions, inconveniences everywhere. custom dies hard and it is difficult to stop as long as the tradition is like so.
